Our story
There has never been a more opportune moment to revolutionize the well-being of office employees, empowering them with the means to enhance work accessibility on a grand scale.
Remote work heralds a new era, prioritizing efficiency over mere hours spent, flexible schedules instead of isolated annual vacations, and diverse innovation in place of limited regional perspectives.
Even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, my sights were set on remote work. The notion of being confined to a concrete building for eight hours, when I could deliver immense value in just four, felt tiresome. The daily commute, packed lunches, and the need to dress up seemed like futile exercises in trading time for minimal returns. Moreover, the meager 7-14 days of paid time off hardly allowed for a fulfilling existence.
Unexpectedly, my desire became reality during the COVID-19 lockdown. Throughout that period, I witnessed the challenges of effectively managing and supporting remote teams. I also experienced, as did others, the profound disconnection that arises without a well-defined strategy for fostering connection. Within a single year, our team suffered a staggering 37% turnover rate, with all new hires leaving before the one-year mark.
The media often depicts remote work as lounging on a beach, working from the comfort of one's bed, or even evading work entirely. In reality, the freedom that remote work bestows benefits everyone.
Remote work isn’t a fad.
And to compete for top talent, it also isn’t optional.
